With the therapy dogs of the Hundetherapie und -schule Bodmer, we visit children and adolescents in children's homes, hospices, clinics and at home. Each visit is individually tailored to current needs.
Enjoy time with the therapy dogs, watch them play or train with them yourself. Back to the simple, back to being.

Visiting Schloss Regensberg / April 2024
In proper April weather, we spent another afternoon with our therapy dogs with the children and young people from Stiftung Schloss Regensberg.
With a “round-the-castle” course with jumps, tunnels and various slaloms, there was a lot going on and the snow and rain were soon forgotten.
We could see the joy in many eyes and some kids didn't want to stop. Always touching moments for the whole team...

A visit in Grünigen / March 2024
We visited the SONNHALDE nursing home with 14 dogs and 12 dog handlers. It was magical. Thank you for allowing us to visit you.

Visit to the Kifa Foundation holiday camp / Autumn 2023
This is the third year that we have visited the Kifa Foundation holiday camp in Walchwil with our dogs.
14 four-legged friends and 13 two-legged friends were looking forward to spending the afternoon with the children.
We spent time together in beautiful sunshine weather.
Every time we are just so touched by what happens between the children and the dogs...
We are grateful that we were able to visit you and say thank you to our four-legged friends for these moments.

Visit of the children and young people from Stiftung Schloss Regensberg at our dog training ground
15 children and young people from “Schloss Regensberg” Foundation visited the therapy dogs at the dog training ground of the Hundetherapie und -schule Bodmer in Aathal.
Dogs, children, games and training and at the end a sausage and cake and a souvenir photo for everyone - we say thank you for coming and see you next time.
"I like Lupo so much that I already know now that I will miss him tonight when I'm in bed," said a boy about the brown Labrador.
Each child could choose which dogs they wanted to train and play with. A boy said right at the beginning that he would like to throw the green ball with Zino again, because the two know each other from the last visits. Hence, everyone could enjoy their time with the therapy dogs, just as it suited them.

Spending time together with the dogs: playing, petting and just being. We say thank you and look forward to the next visit.

"The shining eyes of children say more than many words. Oski and I are grateful that we were able to be part of the child psychiatry visit and look forward to being able to give the children such a moment again on our next visit."

"Together with Lupo, I was allowed to visit the Männedorf child psychiatric clinic. I was very curious to see what awaits us there. As soon as we arrived, the anticipation of the children, who were on the playground during the break, was palpable and audible. With the start of our performance, however, it became quiet and the children watched us intently.
When the children were allowed to choose a dog with a handler, I was immediately chosen by a boy who loves Labradors. He started right away and went over the hurdles together with Lupo. During the hide-and-seek game of the dog toy, both the boy and Lupo really got going and spurred each other on to better hiding and searching, respectively.
I was particularly impressed by the children's willingness to try something new and to get involved in a new situation in such a short time. I'm already looking forward to the next visit and I'm curious to see who or what awaits us."

"Yesterday's visit to the child psychiatric clinic Männedorf with our therapy dogs from the Hundetherapie und -schule Bodmer was once again totally impressive for me. It fascinates and touches me very much how the most diverse dogs with their unique characters conjured up the children's and adolescents' sometimes initial fear in no time at all, leaving a sparkle in their eyes and a smile on their lips in the short time of our visit. Hopefully, this radiance and smile will last for a long time and will remind us all of these moving moments in Männedorf much later.

In autumn, we visited the children again with our four-legged friends during the holiday week of the Kifa Foundation in Walchwil. We spent a beautiful autumn afternoon outside in the garden. Touching moments that we remember often and fondly.
"The visit of the therapy dogs from the Abri association was a highlight of the 2022 holiday week. Thanks to the empathy of the dogs and their owners, the children opened up within a short time and enjoyed petting and cuddling with the furballs very much."
